An ancient traditional system of medicine, Ayurveda is considered to be the oldest system of health care, with literature going back 5000 years and an oral tradition that is much older. 'Ayur' means'Life' and 'Veda' means 'Science'. Thus Ayurveda is the 'Science of Life'.

Its an good old traditional medical science of India, which is the mother science for many life science, example father of surgery – Sushrut Acharya, his techniques are adopted by modern surgeons as reference (plastic surgery). AYURVEDA Samhita (literature) and parampara (family tradition) and day to day adoption of this healing science at home in India, aims at nurturing and globalizing by its miraculous healing in many diseases.

Ayurveda is open minded science although being extremely coherent and logical within its own realm, it is not limited to any particular fixed dogma, but rather universal and dynamic in character, like life itself.
